Veterinary referral is essential

A treatment session usually consists of:-

A thorough assessment to determine

 

bulletThe nature and extent of the condition/injury
bulletThe effect of the condition/injury
bulletThe appropriate treatment regime required
PHYSIOTHERAPY TREATMENT

 

The appropriate combination of:-
bulletManual therapy - manipulation / mobilisation
bulletElectrotherapy
bulletMassage / soft tissue techniques
bulletHydrotherapy
bulletRehabilitation training
bulletHome exercises
bulletOwner advice and home programme as necessary

 

Note. Owners are requested to bring

  1. A letter of referral from the Veterinary Surgeon

  2. A familiar blanket or rug for the dog to lie on

  3. Towels where hydrotherapy treatment is required

Owners please 

Ensure that your dog

bullet

Has not eaten for at least 3 hours prior to treatment

bullet

Has been exercised to allow for toileting prior to attending

bullet

Is kept on a lead and under control the whole time whilst on the premises 

bullet

Is not exercised on the premises without prior permission
