Q. Why do I need a referral from the Vet?
A. This is a legal requirement and ensures that your pet is treated by a fully qualified therapist who is recognised and works in conjunction with Veterinary Surgeons
Q. What hours are you open?
Monday 9:00am – 5:30pm
Tuesday 9:00am – 5:30pm
Wednesday 9:00am – 5:30pm
Thursday 9:00am – 12:30pm
Friday 9:00am – 5:30pm
Times outside of these are by pre-arrangement only
Q. How can I pay?
A. We can accept cash or cheque. We are not able to accept credit card or bank transfer at this time.
All fees are payable at the time of treatment.
Q. How soon can I get an appointment?
A. Usually within a few days
Q. Is treatment included within an assessment appointment
A. Yes, physiotherapy as appropriate is included within the initial assessment appointment. Hydrotherapy commences on the second session once the initial assessment has taken place.
Q. Can Pamela do post surgery treatment
A. Yes if physiotherapy/hydrotherapy is appropriate. Please phone to clarify 01949 837111
Q. What qualifications does Pamela have?
- Masters Degree, Royal Veterinary College (University of London) Hatfield
- ACPAT – The Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Animal Therapy
- Member of Register for Animal Musculoskeletal Practitioners (RAMP)
- MCSP – Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
- Physio First – The Organisation which represents Physiotherapists in private practice
Q. I have pet insurance, can I claim?
A. This depends upon the cover that you have and varies from one insurance company to another. Please contact Pamela to discuss.
Q. Can physiotherapy / hydrotherapy help with arthritic / neurological / post operative conditions?

Q. My dog doesn’t like water, can you give him any treatment other than hydrotherapy?
A. Yes, there are many treatment options

A. See our contact page. A Bingham map can be forwarded with your confirmation of appointment etc.
Q. Do I need to bring anything with me for the physiotherapy / hydrotherapy session?
A. You will receive advice at the time of making your appointment and full guidelines will be enclosed with appointment confirmation letter
